From the earliest stages of the project, the clients were drawn to creating a home that was deeply personal, functional, and visually compelling. They sought a residence that could balance the elegance of thoughtful design with the comfort of everyday living, providing spaces that were both inviting and versatile. A defining moment in the design process came when the clients toured the architect’s own home and discovered a unique concept that resonated strongly with them: a recreational space featuring a garage-style door that opened directly to the outdoor living area. The idea of seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces inspired the clients to incorporate a similar feature into their own home. They envisioned a space where family and friends could gather, entertain, and enjoy both the interior comforts of the home and the beauty of the surrounding environment, blending leisure, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
