The lake front home was very outdated with dark finishes. The client wanted to open up the floor plan to allow for more natural light and lighter finishes throughout the home. We took down a wall dividing the great room from the dining/kitchen area and opened up the kitchen with a new island to better utilize the space. The new layout emphasized the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Norman.
